Meet The Mindmaster
CHRISTOPHER SMITH
Christopher Smith is the Founder and CEO of Millennium Studios Barbershop. He is a Master barber and handles all day to day operations. Which includes opening, closing, cleaning, book keeping, cutting, styling and marketing. He has been an active licensed beauty professional for 5 years and has a wealth of knowledge and skills to share. If we are counting his front porch haircutting years he has been in the industry 22 years and counting. In that amount of time he has learned to cut all hair types, apply man unit hair systems and provide advanced barbering services to over 8,000 clients. In 2016 he won Right Touch Productions student barber battle. He has taken 40 hrs of professional training from World Champion an U.S. Barber, Mc Barber in Wethersfield, Connecticut, the innovative Morono1 for Advanced Barber Systems in Washington, Dc and Wade Mendez in Atlanta, Georgia for the Man Hair Unit System.
Christopher has always been on a mission driven to make something great of himself long before he had a determined destination. Faith, hard work, persistence, determination, dependability and self awareness has all been a determining factor in his career. He does what he does every day to uplift, inspire, teach, and to pay his blessings forward to those who share the same interest and passions as he does. His impact is profound due to his willingness to pour out his knowledge into the lives of others.
Christoper is has a large family from Laurel, Ms. He was an outstanding athlete who enjoyed playing football, tennis, and running track. In his free time he enjoys fishing, camping, swimming and listening to music with family and friends. He frequently travels to Panama City Florida one of his favorite travel destinations.
His passion for barbering and teaching has compelled him to open Christopher Barber College here in Jackson, Ms where he has be residing since 2012. His mission is to give back, inspire, teach, and uplift. Opening Christopher Barber College gave him a chance to make a positive impact on the culture of professional barbering from the foundation.
In conclusion, Christopher Smith’s achievements thus far has been prominent, from opening Millennium Studios Barbershop to winning battles and taking numerous hrs of post barber school training. In doing so he plans to give all of this knowledge away to those who are willing to receive it by way of Christopher Barber College.
